TURKEY İS READİNG CAMPAİGN
Every segment of society to the reading habit to win, and this habit of the development, literacy does not know of adult education, the world rapidly evolving technology, the most effective tools that our country and quickly became widespread computer use can be taught effectively and efficiently making the goal of our President Mr. Abdullah GÜL 's fame under the auspices "Turkey is reading campaign" project has been initiated.
bring to every segment of society and develop reading habits and the computer use in Keban. In order With the project Turkey is reading campaign our goal is to tach to illiterate or non-literate situation to to realize this goal and do the work by the Directorate of National Education as to Keban District supports any offer.
Still in our district reading and writing courses are ongoing effectively by Directorate of Keban Public Education. Our goal in Keban, pre-school, primary and high school age and continuing education and for various reasons could not continue to his/her education our children and young people who do not know reading and writing, can not use a computer in every age of our adults in this project is to provide the necessary training.With the project being an information society that we will remove all obstacles on the way my faith is endless.

 

    

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

Keban is small town which is located on the Eastern Anatolia Region of Upper Euphrates.It is 543 km. square and surrounded with Elaziğ in the east, Arapgir in the west, Çemişgezek in the north, Ağın in the northwest and Baskil in the south.

Keban is located edge of small long thin strip of water between the mountains. District center is in a squeezed valley from east to west extending Bezirgan Brook , Nallı Ziyaret hill, between Bendin Taşı and Seftil hill . This valley extends 2.5 km. and is covered with fruit orchards. Altitude is 780 meters. The region has taken to clamps by the Euphrates River.As its location Keban is in the 3rd degree earthquake zones.
